Thanks girls! On the day our premature granddaughters, Claire and Ellery were born, my desire for Dan & Felicity to NOT go through what we had with our twins, was so overwhelming I “lost it” emotionally in the hallway outside the NICU. From that time on, I became very aware of the depth of our Father’s heart caring about the hard places we go through, and how He GAVE Jesus to this world. Not only did Jesus pay the price for our sins, but He also came to heal the broken-hearted, set the captives free . . . In John 3:16 we see the plan the Godhead made before the world was created, finally being put into motion, and I know our Father’s heart was so thrilled that He would now be able to help us in our time of need!

This is amazing. Thanks for sharing this, Cheri! I love the parallels God has given us between our love for our children and His love for us. I’ve never thought about that scripture quite this way before, but yeah – I’m with Molly! I’ve gotta keep meditating and soaking in this one. So awesome.
